A documentary following a lesbian couple's steps towards motherhood. Making Grace starts with Ann and Leslie's scramble to find a donor while explaining their choice to friends and family. As together they face and cross the numerous obstacles in their way, they are blessed with Grace, their long-awaited baby girl. Now what if something should happen to either of the mothers? While preparing against any possible crises, the two joyfully and enthusiastically throw themselves into raising Grace. This film poignantly illuminates how the strength of human bonds built, more so than any law, is what makes loving souls a family.
