Gay dentist Pedro is enjoying the single life; he has a house, money, and no problem finding dates. However, his carefree life comes to a screeching halt with the arrival of Bernardo, Pedro's 9-year-old nephew who has come to stay for two weeks. A stark contrast between these two unlikely roommates becomes apparent as Pedro struggles to give up his self-centered way of living and adjust to the role of loving caretaker, while Bernardo just wants to be himself. This touching story of love and friendship, while centered on the relationship between Pedro and Bernardo, explores the broader bonds between family members, lovers, and friends.
A smash hit in its native Spain, Bear Cub has enjoyed success in cities all around the world, from Berlin to New York. Now, the quintessential gay "bear movie" has made its way to Japan!
