Presque Rien (Come Undone)

It's summer on the beach in France, and Mathieu (Jeremie Elkaim)'s eyes are lingering on the beautiful view that is Cedric lying distant on the sand. Under the smoldering sun, the two watch each other from afar with longing, then cautiously move closer to one another. Soon, young passion is aflame as they roll in each other's arms on the dunes, splash in the water and throw themselves into love and lust in the lush green of the forest. NowÅ@if only their private lives-- families, jobs, studies-- had been as bright... As Mathieu and Cedric stand perplexed at the overwhelming power of their relationship, the summer sun sinks slowly but steadily into the horizon, and they realize that their shadows are lengthening, but in different directions.

Beautiful cinematography makes for instant intimacy in this hot, sexy and romantic story of young love. Director Sebastien Lifshitz's debut feature is a lush, enchanting film that celebrates the best in queer European cinema.
